About Andy
Andy Nathan is a speaker, writer, and transformational coach for high-achieving men ready to stop coasting and start leading.
He didn’t get into this work in his twenties. It took hitting 40, feeling stuck in a draining career, struggling with relationships, and wondering why life felt so off-track.
And for years, therapy didn’t help. It felt surface-level or frustrating. Andy assumed maybe he just wasn’t “built” for this kind of work.
(Spoiler: he was. Just not the kind of work that skipped the real stuff.)
After 25+ years in the corporate world—and over a decade in the wellbeing and transformation space—Andy now works with men ready to do the deeper work of identity shifts, emotional healing, self-mastery, and leadership.
His coaching, group program (The Man), and men’s wilderness retreats help men slow down, reconnect, and take back the wheel—so they can stop drifting and start living with clarity, strength, and purpose.

The Crash That Almost Killed Me
If you're stuck in performance mode, afraid to slow down, or constantly wondering, “Why do I feel this way when nothing looks wrong?” — this is your episode.
In this second part of my story, I go deeper into what it actually takes to break free from the patterns that keep high-achieving men stuck in limbo.
A life where, on the surface, you’ve got it all... but inside, you know something’s missing. And in my case, a lot was going wrong.
From the outside, I looked like I had it together: corporate job, structure, success.
But inside? I was a Sleepwalker. Overworking. Avoiding. Numbing out. Disconnected from myself and the people I loved.
Then everything changed.
A near-fatal car crash triggered the internal crisis I could no longer ignore — a wake-up call that forced me to confront the truth about who I was, how I was living, and what I’d been avoiding my whole life.
I had to face losing everything I’d worked for.
The opportunity for a complete career change... wiped out in a moment.
And the trauma of that injury — of watching my dreams die in front of me — cracked something open in me that I could never put back the same way.
It was the beginning of the deep work that led me to become The Architect of my life.
But at the time?
It was my dark night of the soul.
I fantasised about ending it all. I planned my own suicide — because I couldn’t see a way out of the misery I was in.
This episode is about that rock bottom moment — and how I rebuilt from there.
